Job summary

Springcare Care Homes Ltd are seeking caring individuals to join our team, where you can make a real difference to residents' lives every day.

As a Care Assistant, you will help with daily activities, meals and personal care, while upholding dignity and respect for every resident. We offer full and part-time day or night contracts, funded training from level 2 to 5, and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Compassion, sensitivity and understanding are essential.
• Good communication and people skills are required.
• Patience and the ability to stay calm under pressure are important.
• Ability to carry out basic tasks on a computer or handheld device.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with washing and dressing.
• Assist with feeding and mealtimes.
• Find out residents’ interests and needs.
• Carry out general housekeeping in bedrooms and communal areas.
• Support residents’ physical and mental wellbeing through activities.

Not only do our care team provide nursing care to our residents, they also help to make our residents lives fulfilled, treat each resident with dignity & respect, and care for them all as if they were their own family.
About the role:
Some of the daily tasks that a carer at Springcare would carry out would include:

• helping with washing and dressing
• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes
• finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.
• general housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas
• supporting each resident’s physical and mental wellbeing through activities.

Our care team provide 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm.
