Springcare Care Homes Ltd is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Care Assistants, where every day you can make a difference to someone's life.

We look for compassionate individuals with strong communication, patience and a desire to help others. The role includes assisting residents with daily activities, meals, and maintaining dignity and respect, with 24-hour care delivered by a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate, patient and able to communicate clearly.
• A desire to help others and provide high-quality care.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and pay attention to detail.
• Comfort with using computer or handheld device for basic tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Helping residents with washing and dressing.
• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes.
• Knowing residents' interests and needs.
• General housekeeping of private bedrooms and communal areas.
• Supporting residents’ physical and mental wellbeing through activities.
• Provide 24-hour care with day and night shift patterns.

Not only do our care team provide nursing care to our residents, they also help to make our residents lives fulfilled, treat each resident with dignity & respect, and care for them all as if they were their own family.

About the role:

Some of the daily tasks that a carer at Springcare would carry out would include:

• helping with washing and dressing
• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes
• finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.
• general housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas
• supporting each resident’s physical and mental wellbeing through activities.

Our care team provide 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am.

Typical Shift patterns for Day or Night Contracts

Days Shift Contracts

• 8am until 8pm
• 8am until 2pm
• 2pm until 8pm

Night Shift Contracts

• 8pm until 8am
