Job summary

Glenholme Senior Living Thimbleby Court in Horncastle is seeking a Day Care Assistant to support residents during the day. You will provide companionship, assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily routines, helping to maintain wellbeing and safety.

Led by Registered Manager Hazel Whittaker, the team offers full training and ongoing support to begin or grow a career in care. This full-time role involves 33 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, including alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential; full training and ongoing support will be provided.
• Excellent communication and a warm, welcoming manner.
• Willingness to learn and develop in care.

Responsibilities

• Supporting older adults to remain safe, comfortable, and well cared for during the day.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.

• Overseeing medication and monitoring health needs.

Hours: 33 hours per week (Full time)
