Job summary

Alexander House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living and care plans. The role involves personal care, mobility and emotional wellbeing, with an emphasis on dignity and respect in a warm team environment.

Full training and ongoing development are provided; weekend alternate shifts are required. NVQ Level 2 is desirable, but willingness to learn and grow is valued as well.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and respectful approach required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop; prior experience beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living, including personal care and mobility.
• Follow individual care plans to support dignity and wellbeing.
• Support residents with nutrition, emotional wellbeing and independence.
• Contribute to a safe, responsive and consistent care environment.
