Job summary

Silvercrest is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our team in South Wales. You will support residents with daily activities, personal care, dressing, meals, and mobility, while building warm relationships with residents and families.

No prior experience is required as full training and a comprehensive induction will be provided. A real living wage salary and SCW registration fee reimbursement are offered, along with ongoing training and career development.

Silvercrest is a small family of nursing care homes across South Wales. Do you have a positive mindset and a can-do attitude? We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Care Assistant at our home. Experience is not essential, but desired, as training will be provided along with a comprehensive induction program. What you'll be doing:

• Providing care and support to residents in our home
• Assisting with daily activities such as personal care, dressing, mealtime support, and mobility.
• Monitoring and recording residents' physical and emotional well-being
• Engaging in activities with residents to promote socialization and mental and emotional stimulation
• Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Collaborating with the care & nursing team to ensure high-quality care is delivered
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
