Job summary

The Westbury Nursing Home in Bristol is seeking compassionate Bank Care Assistants to support residents in their daily activities and wellbeing. Training and ongoing development are provided to build confidence and qualifications for career progression.

Flexibility with shifts and weekend work is required; excellent communication and IT skills are valued as part of a caring team that upholds residents’ dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication and people skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and be flexible with hours.
• Willingness to learn and develop through full inductions and training.
• Comfort with using electronic devices and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and mealtimes.
• Organise and participate in social and recreational activities.
• Maintain residents’ independence where possible.
• Get to know residents and families to provide the best possible care.
• Maintain accurate records.

Location: The Westbury Nursing Home,Falcondale Road, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, BS9 3JH
