Job summary

Richmond Villages in Northampton is seeking a Care Assistant to join our on-site team. The role involves 12-hour shifts on a rota basis, covering both day and night periods, and supporting residents with clinical, social and emotional care. A thorough induction and ongoing training are provided.

You will work under nursing staff and contribute to monitoring residents, liaising with families, and ensuring high standards of care. DBS check is required as part of the recruitment process.

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts on a rota basis, covering both 7:00am to 7:00pm and 7:00pm to 7:00am.

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By

• Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care. Recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents
• Supporting residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care
• Being part of a team supporting the nurse or senior care assistant in monitoring our residents and reporting changes
• Communicating with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals

Because we care for vulnerable people, we’ll need you to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
