Job summary

Greensleeves Care is hiring a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, dignity and independence across our 26 care homes in England. You will assist with dressing, personal hygiene, mobility and day-to-day activities, while upholding residents' rights, privacy and confidentiality.

An enhanced DBS check is required; full training and ongoing learning support are provided. We offer 28 days holiday, a pension scheme, a comprehensive benefits package and flexible learning

Qualifications

• An understanding of the needs of residents.
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
• Experience of providing care (Desirable).
• Experience of working with elders (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to Greensleeves Care values of respect, openness and responsibility.
