Bluebird Care is seeking a Care Assistant to support customers in Andover and Stockbridge, delivering person-centred home care with compassion and respect. You will help clients maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing in their own homes, both independently and within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Aged 18+ and right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Weekend availability (every other weekend or one day every weekend).
• No previous care experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each customer’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support with nutrition and hydration, including meal planning and preparation.
• Help with medication and prescriptions.
• Carry out light housework (tidying, laundry, cleaning).
• Be a dependable, friendly, and familiar face for customers.
