Bluebird Care Winchester, Eastleigh and Romsey is hiring a Live-in Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care in customers' own homes across Hampshire. You’ll live in with the client, supporting independence, dignity and wellbeing while working with our caring team.

Qualifications

• A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Aged 18+.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Right to Work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsored staff or visa transfers).
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential - full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care that’s tailored to the customer and encourages their independence
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, continence care and mobility
• Support with medication and preparing meals
• Take care of household tasks e.g. laundry, cleaning, shopping and errands
• Work independently with support from our team for advice and guidance
• Support customers to stay connected to their community through social activities, hobbies, and visits from loved ones
• Offer comfort and care through illness, hospital visits, or end-of-life care
