Job summary

Bluebird Care Burnham is hiring a compassionate Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred support in customers' own homes across Burnham, Slough, High Wycombe and surrounding areas. You will assist with personal care, nutrition, medications, light housework, and companionship, helping people maintain independence with dignity.

No previous care experience required as full training is provided; weekend availability is welcome.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Weekend availability (every other weekend or one day every weekend).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each customer’s individual needs
• Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Support with nutrition and hydration, including meal planning and preparation
• Help with medication and prescriptions
• Carry out light housework (tidying, laundry, cleaning)
• Be a dependable, friendly, and familiar face for our customers
