Job summary

Care Concern Group and Harrier Grange Care Home are seeking a Care Assistant in Test Valley. You will deliver person-centered care, support daily living activities, and follow care plans to promote dignity and wellbeing. Training and ongoing development are provided.

We value compassion, reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. This role is night shift, 36–48 hours weekly, with DBS paid, uniform provided, and paid breaks. Experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans and recognise changes in condition to ensure safe, responsive care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter.

Job description

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
