Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant to join our compassionate team in the homes and communities we support. You’ll help people stay independent, safe and comfortable, with full training provided and no prior care experience required.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, plus a right to work in the UK. We offer flexible shifts, paid mileage, and a range of benefits including pension, holidays, and funded training to grow your career.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing and dressing.
• Assist with mobility to help customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, including shopping and prescriptions.
