Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant in the Salisbury area to provide companionship and practical support in customers' homes. No care experience necessary; full training is provided, with flexibility in shifts and mileage paid.

You’ll be part of a friendly, purpose-driven team committed to helping people live well and stay independent. As a Care Assistant, you’ll support personal care, mobility, daily tasks, and medication administration, while upholding dignity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.

• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
