Job summary

Excelcare is seeking a Night Care Assistant at Glennfield House Care Home in Wisbech. You will join a compassionate team to provide physical, emotional, and social support to residents, including mealtimes and personal care, while maintaining dignity and respect.

Night shifts run 8pm–8am, Monday to Sunday, with the possibility of alternating weekends. Applicants with care experience are preferred, but a caring, kind approach to working with older people is welcome to join the Excelcare family.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment would be ideal.
• You will assist with mealtimes and personal care and complete daily documentation.

Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years.We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. By joining us you will become one of the ‘family’ and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect:

• £13.45 per hour - £13.85per hour depending on experience and qualifications
• Night shifts from 8pm - 8am, Monday - Sunday. You must be able to work alternate weekends.

About the role:

As a Care Assistant you will be assisting with mealtimes, personal care and completing current and appropriate documentation which includes daily record keeping, charts and care plans. You will be engaging in meaningful activities with the people living in our care home as well as always promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.

What we are looking for from you:

Experience in a care environment either in a care home, as a home care worker or caring for a loved one would be ideal, however if you have a caring and kind approach and the desire to work with older people - become one of the Excelcare family.
