Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, Buckley, seeks a friendly Complex Care Assistant to support a young child who is fully dependent 24/7.

You will manage repositioning, mobility, feeding via jejunostomy, monitor skin, epilepsy, respiratory support, and related daily care tasks in a home setting. Experience with complex needs is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children with complex requirements in a home care setting.
• Experience in respiratory management would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support a young child who is fully dependent 24/7.
• Assist with repositioning and mobility, and monitor for safety.
• Administer care as per complex care plan, including feeding and medication.
• Monitor skin integrity and overall well-being.
• Assist with respiratory needs and use of oxygen/suction as required.

Pay: £14 (weekdays) £14.50 (weekends) per hour

Shifts: Monday - Sunday, 8-hour days

Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for a friendly and communicative Complex Care Assistant to support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care 24/7.

Their care needs consist of:

• Repositioning, mobility requirements and manual handling
• Dual Jejunostomy and Gastrostomy Button for feeding and administering medication
• Monitoring of skin and tissue viability
• Complex Epilepsy and Dystonia, requiring rescue medication
• Oxygen, suctioning and saturation monitoring
• Respiratory requirements, interventions of bag and mask, oxygen and stimulation. This can be multiple times per day.
• Physiotherapy progamme

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

For this role, you would be required to have experience caring for children with complex requirements in a home care setting. Experience in respiratory management would be beneficial.
