Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support a client living at home in Hessay near York. You will work as part of a small team to assist with personal care and daily activities, enabling independence and engagement in activities the client enjoys.

No prior care experience is required, though it is preferred. This role offers training, DBS support, and opportunities for career development within the UK's largest care company.

Qualifications

• Compassion and ability to build relationships with client and care team.
• No care experience required, but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks for the client.
• Support the Live-in Carer during breaks and two-to-one care.
• Help client socialise, access the community and pursue hobbies.

Job Description

This role is caring for our client in their own home based in Hessay near York, they have a spinal injury and need support to live independently and this role be assisting the Live in Carer with their breaks and when two to one care is required. This may include helping the client with personal care , socialise, access the community or enable them to keep up with their interests and hobbies

Qualifications

This role requires compassion and the ability to build relationship with the client and existing care team.
