Dovedale Court Care Home is a 76-bed facility in Wednesbury, West Midlands, seeking compassionate Care Assistants to support residents with daily living and wellbeing.

You will work as part of a supportive team, following care plans to promote dignity, independence and safety, with full training and development provided.

About Dovedale Court Care Home

Dovedale Court Care Home is a 76 bed care home located in Wednesbury, West Midlands. Providing nursing and residential dementia care, the home is a welcoming place where colleagues work together to make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day. With a strong focus on personalised care, meaningful activities and building genuine relationships, Dovedale Court offers a rewarding environment for those passionate about delivering kind, high quality care.

Care Assistant Contract

• £12.95-£13.45 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
