Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust in Wallingford is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support residents in our Westgate House home. You will help with daily routines, personal care, and creating a safe, respectful living environment where residents feel valued and supported.

We welcome both experienced carers and those new to care. We offer induction, ongoing development, and a range of benefits, with opportunities to progress and earn enhancements through NVQ and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Caring demeanor and ability to assist with daily routines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with residents and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities and personal care (washing, bathing, toilet use).
• Support residents to maintain dignity, comfort and independence.

Pay Rate: £13.78 Per Hour (NVQ & Weekend enhancements available)

Shift Pattern: 7:00am - 2:30pm & 2:30pm - 10:00pm Monday-Friday
