Job summary

Westgate House Care Home in Wallingford is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily routines and personal care, delivering kindness, dignity and companionship. You’ll join a welcoming team that values communication, empathy and consistent, respectful care in a not-for-profit environment.

We provide induction training, ongoing development and a comprehensive range of benefits. Weekend work and NVQ enhancements are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or a desire to work in care is welcomed.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with residents.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, helping with toilet use).

Location: Westgate House Care Home, Wallingford, OX10 8FE

Pay Rate: £14.85 per hour ( weekend and NVQ enhancements available)

We are looking for both experienced carers and those that are new to care to build our teams with diverse people who can bring all sorts of life experience to the job.
