Job summary

Sandon House Care Home is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for night shifts to support residents with daily living, personal care and wellbeing. You will work within a small, friendly team, following individual care plans and contributing to a dignified, person-centred approach.

The role welcomes both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and development offered to help you grow within Care Concern Group. DBS is paid and benefits include uniform and staff support services.

About Sandon House Care Home
Our 42 bedded home provides residential and specialist dementia care in the heart of Mossley, supporting older people to live well with personalised care. Sandon House has a warm, friendly and close knit atmosphere, with comfortable communal spaces, landscaped gardens and a caring team who take the time to understand each resident as an individual. It is a supportive home where colleagues can build strong relationships with residents, develop their skills and make a genuine difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• Contracted to 33 or 22 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
