Job summary

Colten Care's Newstone House in Sturminster Newton, Dorset, is hiring a Health Care Assistant to join a friendly team. You’ll provide compassionate care to residents, supported by our Nursing team 24 hours a day, with induction and ongoing training from day one.

We offer 36 hours per week across daytime shifts with alternate weekends, paid breaks, plus opportunities for pay enhancements, training, and real career progression within our award-winning family-owned care home group.

Qualifications

• Compassion is in your nature and you’re willing to be hands-on with residents.
• You’re organised, hard-working, resilient, with good observation skills, attention to detail and a sense of fun.
• You don’t need previous experience; induction and ongoing training are provided.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents with support from the Nursing team 24 hours a day.
• Provide attentive, compassionate assistance and help where needed.
