Right now, we're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team at our care home. Whether we're providing long or short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care, our focus is on providing the highest quality service at all times.
As a Care Assistant, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You will assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
Delivering care that truly comes from the heart involves ensuring our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality. You might help someone with limited mobility learn to use an aid, offer emotional support to a confused or distressed resident, or provide end-of-life care, always prioritizing their well-being.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It’s important to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect, and know what actions to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training suitable for their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
