Maidstone Complex SCP, part of CCH, is seeking a dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care, promoting comfort, dignity and independence within a dynamic care team. Experience in complex care is essential.

A valid UK manual driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required. Comprehensive training, paid induction and DBS completion are provided, with clear progression into leadership

Responsibilities

• Support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury and deliver person-centred care.
• Review the client’s care plan daily, follow infection control procedures, and monitor clinical interventions.

What you'll do

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and take the next step in your care career. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and reliable Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury.

This is a highly rewarding role where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, consistency, and excellent communication skills, building positive interactions and providing person-centred care that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence.

As part of our dedicated care team, you will be responsible for reviewing and following the client’s support plan on a daily basis, adhering to infection control procedures, carrying out safety checks on equipment, and monitoring and administering clinical interventions in line with training and care protocols.

What you’ll need

Experience in complex care is required, especially in the following:

• PEG feeding
• Suctioning
• Catheter Care
• Stoma Care
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
• Clear Communicator
• Mental Health Support

It is essential you must have a valid UK manual driving licence and be confident in using a mobility van.
