Job summary

CCH is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman with an acquired brain injury in Orpington. You will provide person-centred care, follow care plans, and ensure dignity and independence while maintaining infection control and safety checks.

The role requires complex care experience especially in PEG feeding, suctioning, catheter and stoma care, medication administration, and moving & handling equipment, with a valid UK manual licence and access to a mobility van.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care is required, especially PEG feeding, suctioning, catheter and stoma care, and medication administration.
Ability to use moving and handling equipment and clear communication with clients and teams.
Mental health support awareness is desirable and patient dignity and independence should be promoted.

Responsibilities

Support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury with person-centred care.
Review and follow the client’s support plan daily.
Adhere to infection control procedures and safety checks on equipment.
Monitor and administer clinical interventions per training and care protocols.

What you'll do

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and take the next step in your care career. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and reliable Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury.

This is a highly rewarding role where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, consistency, and excellent communication skills, building positive interactions and providing person-centred care that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence.

As part of our dedicated care team, you will be responsible for reviewing and following the client’s support plan on a daily basis, adhering to infection control procedures, carrying out safety checks on equipment, and monitoring and administering clinical interventions in line with training and care protocols.
