Job summary

CCH Group is seeking caregivers for the Maidstone Complex SCP in Lyminge. You’ll support a young adult with complex needs, including catheter care and mobilization, under the supervision of registered nurses during shifts.

Shifts run day and night across 8am–8pm and 8pm–8am; driver with own vehicle is preferred. Training is provided, with DBS costs covered and opportunities for career progression within CCH.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is essential.
• Catheter care, bowel management, moving & handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catheter care, bowel management, and moving & handling.
• Support registered nurses on shift with tracheostomy care and invasive ventilation as needed.
• Provide patient-focused care to a young adult with complex needs.

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour - Weekdays

£15.25 per hour - Weeknights & Weekends

Shifts Available: 8 am - 8 pm Days | 8 pm - 8 am Nights (Sleeper Shifts)

Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

Job Description

What you'll do

The client is a young adult who has sustained a spinal injury, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as:

• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management
• Moving & Handling

You will also be required to assist our registered general nurses on shift in the following, where needed:

• Tracheostomy Care
• Invasive Ventilation
• Deep Suctioning
• Cough Assist
