Meadow Bank Care Home in Preston is seeking a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care for residents, supporting daily living, mobility and wellbeing. You will follow care plans and help residents feel respected and valued.
We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development. NVQ Level 2 is desirable or an eagerness to work towards it.
Our 110 bedded home provides residential, nursing and specialist dementia care, including a dedicated Specialist Dementia Care Community. Located in Bamber Bridge, Preston, Meadow Bank is a welcoming home with spacious communal areas, landscaped gardens and a strong sense of community. Our team provides person centred care in a supportive environment, where you can build meaningful relationships with residents and make a real difference every day.
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
