Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a part-time Care Assistant at Whitaker Grange, Ossett, West Yorkshire. Join a close-knit on-site team to help residents live independently in a single location.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, supporting wellbeing activities, and promoting dignity and community engagement. On-site roles with funded training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in a UK health and social care role preferred.
• Qualification: Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus, but not essential.
• Personality: Caring, dependable, and passionate about supporting older adults
• Location: Living within commuting distance of the development.

What You’ll Be Doing:
