Job summary

Bluebird Care Nottingham is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and help set the standard in home care. You’ll support customers in daily living at home, work independently or with a supportive team, and help maintain comfort and dignity.

We offer generous rates of pay from £13 to £27 per hour, full induction and expert training, flexible shifts, uniform and PPE, and 24/7 support to help you grow in your role.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep, nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying and laundry.
• Be a dependable friendly face for customers.
