You will live in the client's home for an agreed period, delivering 1:1, person-centred care to help them live safely, independently and with dignity.

Salary: £135 per day

Schedule: Live in Placements/ rotational patterns available, generally 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

The Role

As a Live-In Complex Care Assistant, you will live in the client's home for an agreed period and provide support in accordance with their individual care plan and clinical requirements.

Complex care is about the person, not simply their diagnosis.

You will take the time to understand the individual you support — their preferences, routines, interests and goals — and help them maintain as much choice, control and independence as possible.

Whether this means supporting someone to enjoy time with family, access their local community, pursue hobbies or simply feel comfortable and secure in their own home, you will play an important role in helping them live life on their terms.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for people who understand that excellent complex care requires compassion, attention to detail, professionalism and consistency.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience working within healthcare, complex care or a similar environment
• Experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs
• A compassionate and person-centred approach
• Excellent observation and communication skills
• Confidence working independently within a client's home
• The ability to recognise and appropriately escalation changes in a client's condition
• A strong understanding of dignity, safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries
• The ability to follow detailed care plans and clinical guidance
• Good written communication and record-keeping skills
• A reliable, flexible and professional approach
