Job description

Looking to join a CQC OUTSTANDING care team?

If providing the very best home care is your passion, there’s nowhere better than The Good Care Group. We’re seeking reliable, experienced care assistants in Central London to provide care and companionship to clients in their homes, visiting multiple locations throughout your shift. Whether you can work multiple days, prefer early mornings, evenings, or weekends, we’d love to find shifts that fit your lifestyle.

We currently have clients based in Kensington, Chelsea, Hammersmith, and the South West area of London. You will need to be prepared to travel to these locations.

Why we think there’s nowhere better:

  1. Flexible zero-hour or bank contracts that allow you to choose your working hours, giving you control over your life-work balance.
  2. Excellent pay rates above London living wage.
  3. Annual salary review.
  4. You’ll be paid for the time it takes to travel between calls, plus we’ll pay your travel expenses.
  5. Minimum of 1-hour visits - zero 15 or 30 minute calls!
  6. Ongoing training including care certificate, level 2 & 3 Diploma.
  7. 24/7 on call support.
  8. Access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
  9. Holiday pay, bank holiday enhancements, and workplace pension scheme.

About the role:

Working as a domiciliary care assistant in Central London, you’ll make a genuine difference to the lives of the people you support. As a domiciliary carer, you’ll be visiting clients in their own homes for a minimum of 1-hour calls. You’ll be assisting with personal care, medication management, and household tasks. You’ll also support clients in pursuing their interests and hobbies! There are no set hours or shifts; however, we are looking for people with availability during the early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

If you have at least 6 months experience working as a visiting carer, health care assistant, or as a carer in a care home or hospital, and are naturally friendly with a desire to make a positive difference in life, we want to hear from you!

We’re committed to diversity and inclusivity, believing it drives excellence and reflects the communities we serve. As a level 2 Disability Confident Employer, we provide equal opportunities and can make reasonable adjustments to support you. We’ve proudly launched our Neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ steering groups to further promote inclusivity and welcome applications from all backgrounds and experiences.

Please note any successful applicants for this role will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS and PVG check for working with adults. It is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with that particular group.
