Job summary

Bluebird Care Market Harborough is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes. You will work independently or as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality daily living assistance.

The role involves personal care, meal prep, medication support, light housework, and following care plans. DBS checks will be completed, and full training is provided. Driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• DBS check and references will be undertaken in line with regulations.
• Full training provided; previous care experience not required.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework and errands.
• Follow care plans and maintain a calm, friendly presence.
