Maidstone Complex SCP, part of CCH, is recruiting a care professional for community-based supervision in Folkestone. The role requires patience, calmness and adaptability, with strong communication to tailor care to each client’s needs. DBS check, full training, and progression opportunities are provided.

Shifts are days, with a requirement for access to a vehicle due to geographic coverage, and pay is £13 per hour. This is a frontline care position within the CCH group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the care sector is required.
• Business insurance for your mode of transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide close supervision in the community to ensure client wellbeing.
• Communicate effectively with the client’s mother and the wider care team to ensure high‑quality care.

Location: Folkestone

Pay:£13 per hour

Shifts:Days only -8 am - 6 pm (Tuesday) and 2 x 6-hour shifts (Monday & Friday 10 am - 4 pm)

Access to a vehicle is required due to the geographical location of the role

What you’ll do

The ideal candidate will be a patient, calm, and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor their approach to meet the client’s unique needs. They will be observant, safety-conscious, and capable of providing close supervision in the community to ensure the client’s well-being at all times.

Compassion, professionalism, and the ability to maintain clear boundaries are essential, particularly when managing challenging behaviours or navigating sensitive topics. Reliability and consistency are key, offering structure and reassurance while remaining confident in responding to medical emergencies such as seizures.

Strong teamwork and communication skills are also vital, enabling effective collaboration with the client’s mother and the wider care team to ensure high-quality, consistent care within the agreed home environment.
