Job summary

Helping Hands in Mansfield is hiring a Care Assistant to provide warm companionship and practical support in customers' own homes. No previous care experience is required as full training is provided, and you will help people stay independent and feel safe.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes
• Support with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Assist with mobility needs to help customers stay safe and confident
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans
• Help with household tasks (cleaning, cooking, meal preparation)
• Run essential errands (e.g., groceries, prescriptions)
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel truly cared for
