Orchard Care Homes Ltd. is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support residents at Paddock Stile Manor in Newbottle, near Houghton-le-Spring. You will help with daily living tasks, hygiene, meals, mobility and social activities, always showing dignity and respect.

The role offers full and part-time hours, ongoing training, DBS checks, and a supportive team environment focused on development and compassionate care for older adults.

Responsabilités

• Deliver personal care including washing, dressing and oral hygiene.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Care Assistant at Paddock Stile Manor Care Home, you’ll be a vital part of our dedicated care team. You’ll support residents with their daily needs, always treating them with dignity, respect, and kindness. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene


• Supporting residents in meaningful activities, leisure outings, and appointments


• Serving meals and refreshments with warmth and courtesy


• Maintaining a clean, pleasant, and welcoming environment


• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing


• Acting as a key worker for a group of residents, ensuring care is tailored to their individual preferences


• Supporting new team members and contributing to a positive team culture
