Orchard Care Homes’ Green Lodge Care Home in Billingham, Teesside, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead the care team, assess needs, develop person-centred care plans and ensure high standards of medical, physical and emotional support.

You will supervise staff, mentor colleagues, and participate in audits and liaise with healthcare professionals and families. Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential, with at least 6 months in a senior role.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential).
• Experience in elderly care or dementia support.
• Strong supervisory and team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Administering medication safely and accurately.
• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and updating care records.
• Liaising with healthcare professionals and families.
• Supporting residents with personal care, meals and daily activities.
• Ensuring the home remains clean, safe and welcoming.

Salary: £14.30 per hour
Schedule/Hours: Full & Part-time available – Nights, 22-44hrs per week

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll play a key leadership role within our care team.
