Job summary

Care Concern Group’s Hazelwell Care Home in Wirral is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with personal care, mobility and daily living activities. You will follow care plans, report changes in condition and contribute to a safe, respectful environment where dignity and independence are valued.

The role offers day and night bank shifts with a starting rate of £12.71 per hour, contracted up to 48 hours per week, with paid DBS pension and uniform provided, plus 5.6 weeks leave

Qualifications

• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Job description

Based in the Wirral, our stunning all-inclusive 55-bed care facility offers high-quality Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite care., As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing. You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends. Day and Night Bank shifts available.
