Job summary

Loveday is seeking Full Time Care Assistants to join our luxury care residences in Kensington and surrounding areas. You will provide direct care to residents, supporting independence and dignity in line with each person’s Personal Care Plan.

Tasks include washing, showering, dressing and assisting with mobility and meals. We offer paid breaks, a Health Care Cash Plan, Wagestream access and other benefits as part of a rewards package, with a discretionary bonus and recognition schemes for

Qualifications

• Provide direct care to residents with dignity and independence as per Personal Care Plan.
• Support with daily living activities and promote wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to members by supporting and promoting their independence, dignity and overall well-being.
• Assist with washing, showering, bathing and dressing.
• Promote continence and assist with toileting, mobility and hydration.
• Use moving and handling equipment and mobility aids as required.
• Support members and their families, and assist the Nursing team.

Hourly Rate:

£15.20 p/h for day shift

The salaried equivalent iscalculatedon a pro-rata basis, reflecting the proportion of hours worked compared to a full time schedule.

Main Duties and Responsibilities included:

• Provide direct care to members by supporting and promoting their independence, choice, dignity, and overall well-being, in alignment with each member’s Personal Care Plan.
• Assisting Washing, Showering, Bathingand Dressing
• Promoting continence and also assisting with toileting, mobility, food and fluid intake
• Use of moving and handling equipment, wheelchairs and any specific mobility aid required by a member
• Providing ongoing support for the members, their family and supporting the Nursing team.
