Job summary

Bluebird Care Islington and Hackney is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. You will support clients in their own homes, provide person-centered care, assist with personal care, meals, and mobility, and help maintain independence.

The role requires you to live in Islington or Hackney, be 18+, have right to work, and be reliable. We offer training, ongoing support, and an inclusive team environment with overtime and travel contributions.

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistantyour key responsibilities will include:

Requirements

• You must have a valid right to work in the UK and currently be living in Islington or Hackney
• You need to be over the age of 18
• A genuine desire to care for others
• To be reliable, compassionate, honest and patient
• To have availability to work more than 20 hours per week
• Can work flexible times, including a range of mornings from 7am and/or evenings to 10pm will be part of your regular schedule. (minimum 2 evenings per week)
• Alternate weekends (including both Saturday and Sunday)
• Previous care experience is desirable
