Job summary

Bluebird Care Islington and Hackney is seeking a Care Assistant to support clients in Islington and Hackney with compassionate, person-centred home care.

You will assist with personal care, meal preparation, light domestic tasks and companionship, with flexible hours including mornings and evenings and alternate weekends.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and reside in Islington or Hackney; training is provided and opportunities for career progression are available.

• Over 18 years old
• Genuine desire to care for others
• Reliable, compassionate, honest and patient
• Availability to work more than 20 hours per week
• Flexible times including mornings from 7am and/or evenings to 10pm; minimum 2 evenings per week
• Alternate weekends (Sat and Sun)
• Previous care experience is desirable

Requirements

• You must have a valid right to work in the UK and currently be living in Islington or Hackney
• You need to be over the age of 18
• A genuine desire to care for others
• To be reliable, compassionate, honest and patient
• To have availability to work more than 20 hours per week
• Can work flexible times, including a range of mornings from 7am and/or evenings to 10pm will be part of your regular schedule. (minimum 2 evenings per week)
• Alternate weekends (including both Saturday and Sunday)
• Previous care experience is desirable
