Job summary

Bluebird Care Highgate and Haringey is looking for a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our expert team and help us set the standard in home care. You will support customers in daily living at home, working independently or as part of a supportive team, with full induction and ongoing expert training, plus flexible shift patterns.

• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans; previous care experience is beneficial but not essential with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal prep and nutrition planning.
• Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework and keep surroundings tidy.
