Overview

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our care team, delivering person‑centred care that supports independence and honours choice. Your role is to ensure residents live a life they truly love, working alongside a dedicated team to deliver the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with varying needs, from companionship to personal care.
  • Observe and manage residents’ behaviour, documenting and reporting any changes in compliance with legislation.
  • Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting meal consumption according to their care plan.
  • Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
  • Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
