Job summary

Porthaven Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant in Cheltenham to support residents with daily living tasks, dignity, and wellbeing. You will work within a warm, supportive environment, following individual care plans and collaborating with the team.

We welcome applicants who are compassionate, reliable, and flexible about shift patterns, with full training provided by our Learning & Development team. DBS check required and UK work authorisation.

Qualifications

Part Time Shifts - Twilight Shifts - 7pm to 11pm or 8pm to Midnight - Including Weekends

Daily responsibilities in this role include:

• Respect each resident as an individual, tailoring care to their personal needs and preferences according to their care plan.
• Support residents with daily living activities including; washing, toileting, dressing and grooming.
• Promote choice, dignity, and independence through person-centred care.
• Support residents during mealtimes and ensure they have access to food and refreshments whenever they wish
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through kindness, empathy, and compassion with residents.
