Job summary

Elstree Court Care Home in Eastbourne is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver high quality, person-centred care for residents. You will help with daily living needs such as personal care, mobility and nutrition while following care plans and recognising changes in condition.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers, offering full training, guidance and ongoing development to support your journey within a friendly team and welcoming environment.

About Elstree Court Care Home

Elstree Court Care Home is a 40 bed care home located in Eastbourne, East Sussex, close to the seafront and local amenities. Providing residential, nursing and respite care, the home offers a comfortable and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £14.80 to £15.30 per hour
• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
