Job summary

Market Lavington Care Home in Wiltshire is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant on a full‑time, day‑shift basis. You will support residents with daily living tasks, dignity, independence and wellbeing in a warm, person‑centred environment.

No previous experience required, as full training, guidance and development are provided. NVQ Level 2 is desirable, and we offer paid DBS, uniform, career progression and a range of staff benefits.

About Market Lavington Care Home
Market Lavington Care Home is a 79 bed care home located in the village of Market Lavington, near Devizes in Wiltshire. Providing residential, nursing and dementia care, the home offers a modern and welcoming environment with comfortable living spaces, accessible bedrooms, social areas and a secure garden. Colleagues work together as part of a caring team to provide high quality, person centred care and support Residents to enjoy a fulfilling daily life.

Care Assistant Contract

• £14.80 to £15.30 per hour
• Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
