Job summary

CCH Group in Denbigh is seeking compassionate care professionals to support a client in their family home. The role involves working with a client who has complex health needs, including Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and developmental delays.

You will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and help manage medications and health needs in a home setting. A driver is required due to the location, and full-time contracted hours are available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we value kindness and reliability.
• Experience in bowel/bladder management, epilepsy care, or seizure management is beneficial but not required.
• Able to follow care plans and communicate with a client who is non-verbal through smiles and gestures.

Responsibilities

• Manual handling.
• Medication administration.
• Chest physiotherapy support.
• Seizure management.
• Oral suctioning.
• Personal care and hygiene support.
• Attend hydrotherapy once a week.

Location: Denbigh
Pay: £14.25 per hour

Shifts: Days (08:00-20:00) on a 2-week rolling rota

Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2 - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

Contract: Full-time contracted hours available

Job Description

What you’ll do

You’ll be supporting a wonderful client in their family home alongside their parents and four friendly dogs. The client lives with a number of complex health needs, including: Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Hypertonic Clonus Spasms, Developmental Delay and Learning Difficulties.

Although non-verbal, the client communicates through smiles, laughter and vocal sounds, making this an incredibly rewarding role where you can build a meaningful connection and truly enhance quality of life.

We’ll provide ongoing clinical and personal care support, including:

• Manual handling
• Medication administration via JEJ
• Chest physiotherapy support
• Seizure management
• Oral suctioning
• Personal care and hygiene support
• Attend Hydrotherapy once a week

The family create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for the care team, making this a lovely home-based setting to work in.

Qualifications

You are not required to have any experience for this position. Most importantly, we’re looking for caring, reliable people with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial, but not essential:

• Bowel management
• Bladder management
• Epilepsy care
• Seizure management
• Respiratory management
• Oral suctioning
