TipTopJob in Colchester is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker for a leading care home in Essex. The role focuses on Dementia and mental health care, including care for younger people with dementia in an annex.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, join a supportive team, and benefit from a pension, training, and recognition schemes. The role is permanent, full-time, 36 hours per week, day shifts, earning GBP13.45 per hour (£25,178.40 per year).

The care home emphasises on Dementia and Mental health care, and also has skills to care for younger people with dementia in an annex adjacent to the main home.

**To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent**

As The Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well:being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well:being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

Benefits

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP13.45 per hour and the annual salary is GBP25,178.40 per annum.
