Job summary

CCH Group in Cannock is seeking a dedicated Complex Care Worker to support a client in their own home, promoting independence and safety. You will assist with daily living, manage continence needs and monitor an ileostomy, including medication administration.

Shifts include Days (07:30 - 19:30) and Nights (19:30 - 07:30). Full training provided and DBS check covered. Prior care experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience required, including bowel management (ileostomy) and medication administration.
• Ability to support with continence care and daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

• Care for the client in their own home.
• Assist with day-to-day activities and continence care.
• Monitor ileostomy bag and output.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Provide reassurance and compassionate support.

Job Description

What you’ll do

This role will involve you caring for our client in their own home. They suffered a Hypoxic Brain Injury, which has led to them requiring support with certain aspects of their life.

Due to the brain injury that they suffered, this has led to them developing memory loss, absent seizures, high risk of choking and they have an ileostomy. .

You will be required to help support with day-to-day life, assisting with continence care and monitoring of ileostomy bag and output, medication administration and reassurance to support with their needs.

You will need to have previous care experience to apply for this role, specifically in Bowel Management (Ileostomy) and medication administration.
