Job summary

CCH Group is hiring a care professional to support a client at their home in Hessay, near York. The role involves 24-hour style supervision with focus on personal care, medication support, and daily living tasks.

Shifts are split: 09:15-13:45 and 18:30-20:30 daily. A driver may be required if not local. Full DBS check is provided, with comprehensive training and clear opportunities for progression within the care team.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the client in their own home in Hessay near York, supporting with personal care and daily activities.
• Helping with medication administration and clinical care requirements as needed.
• Assisting with meals, monitoring health needs, and engaging the client in leisure activities such as gaming.

Job description

Shifts:09.15-13.45 and 18.30-20.30. This is a split shift, and you would be required to work both of these times daily.

Driver is required for this role due to location but if local then this may not be required

Job Description

This role is caring for our client in their own home based in Hessay near York. They have a spinal injury and need support to live independently. He currently receives 24-hour care, supporting with and monitoring all clinical care requirements, supporting with medication administration, meal preparation and support with all person care needs. He also enjoys gaming in his spare time also.

Qualifications

Care experience is not essential for this position, but would be beneficial. However we are more looking for a compassionate, caring and confident individual. Clear communication, the ability to build strong, effective relationships and working well in the existing team are the main things we are looking for.
