Helping Hands in Bristol is seeking a Care Assistant to support people at home, helping them stay independent, comfortable and safe in familiar surroundings. You’ll provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and respond with kindness and respect.

No prior care experience is required; full training is provided. We offer flexible shifts, paid mileage, pension, holiday pay and ongoing coaching to help you grow a rewarding career in care.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.
• Full driving licence and own vehicle to travel between calls.

Responsibilities

• Provide warmth and meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care activities (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with mobility needs to keep customers safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication per care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands such as food shopping and prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel cared for.
